Microsilica

K V Metachem is manufacturing a wide range of optimum quality microsilica. These are said to be a great addition for concrete because these improve its engineering capabilities. In addition to this, the said products also increase strength, durability, and thermal cracking. By distributing hydration products more evenly, increasing the volume of hydration products, and reducing the average size of cement paste pores, microsilica in concrete increases its strength and durability. These are also referred to as silica fume. Our offerings are a by-product of making silicon and ferrosilicon alloys. The said products are also found in electric arc furnaces by carbothermally reducing high purity quartz.
